- This device is designed to detect Carbon Monoxide (CO), not Carbon Dioxide (CO₂).
- Carbon monoxide is colorless, odorless, and tasteless, making a dedicated CO detector important in areas with fuel-burning appliances.
- A CO detector does not replace proper ventilation or regular maintenance of heaters, boilers, and combustion appliances.
- Follow the manufacturer's installation instructions for proper placement and mounting height.
- Battery type, sensor lifetime, and measurement range may vary by version.
- Wi-Fi versions in this category typically use 2.4GHz Wi-Fi.
